The bike

The model is a BMW Adventure of 2009 with ESA.

The bike is finally ready. She feels a bit on the heavy side, but I think after some time, the condition will get better and the pounds will go.

I have changed the oil, last weekend. About 3.8 l full synthetic 10W50 oil has been implemented 😉

Here is an overview of modifications which I have done:

  • xenon HID light
  • battery odyssey PC 535: about 1kg more heavy than the original but as they are used in space technology I have my trust in it. They should last about 5 years and perform well in a lot of bad circumstances like cold weather.
  • horn button protection (044-3034)
  • studded pillion passenger footpegs (044-0860): allows enduro riding 2up
  • hard part la steering stop (044-0403)
  • garmin gpsmap 62 handlebar mount (065-0585)
  • extra jerrycan gasoline 3L (070-0573)
  • gas valve protection (044-0730)
  • Fork protectors (040-1304)
  • Aluminium sump guard 044-0722
  • headlight protector steel 044-0330
  • Oil Cooler Protection 044-0342
  • sidestand support 044-3030
  • handlebar risers 044-1067
  • unifilter 044-0870 044-0870
  • TPS 15 for BMW CAN-BUS 044-0450
  • magicam bike mount
